I’m a Huge Colorado Sports Fan Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, Avalanche & CU Buffalos

In my downtime, I enjoy jazz music & PlayStation games.

I was in one of the top 25 collegiate choirs in the nation. I toured regionally in an acoustic rock band for 3 years and I now produce EDM

I moved to Colorado in 2001.

How long have you been working with food?
I have 24 years of culinary experience, to include:
Marios Via Bruzz in Rochester NY 4 years 1993-1196
Mill River in Zagat Rated #1 for food 1996-2000
Kevin Taylor, Nicoise 2001-2002
Lifestyles catering 2002-2005
Millennium Hotel 2005-2008 in Boulder
Denver Renaissance 2008-2016

Can you tell us more about your culinary background?
Although the last 12 years of experience have been in hotels I pride myself on my restaurant background. Mario’s Via Abruzzi is the base of my culinary background. A true authentic Italian restaurant with a banquet facility that can service up to 500 persons. At Mario’s we made everything from scratch to include pastas, bread, aesserts and all sauces. This was the base of my culinary skills.
The Mill River in is my greatest accomplishment in my career. This small, out of the way restaurant received a #1 rating by Zagat 4 years in a row. With just three of us in the kitchen we took something was ordinary and made into something amazing.
Then the rest of my career speaks for itself, 8 years at the Denver Renaissance, ranked 13th in banquet food and 28th for restaurant out of 90 hotel should tell the story about what I am about.

What can you tell us about your family?
I am married to wonderful women and have three amazing children and live in Centennial Colorado.

What do you like best about your role?
I love food and all that come with it. My wife and children are the driving force in my career they are truly my biggest fans and motivate me to be the chef that I am today
